Description
Once home to Camp Wellfleet during World War II, Marconi Beach is the site of the Italian inventor Marconi's first transatlantic wireless communication between the U.S. and England in 1903. Marconi Beach is famous for the high cliffs that run behind it. From this location at the top of the cliffs an amazing vista is revealed of both bay and ocean horizons.
