Description
The Mayflower Pilgrims’ first landing in the New World in November of 1620 was in Provincetown, Massachusetts. This is the Pilgrim Monument erected to commemorate their landing. During the five weeks the pilgrims stayed exploring the area, they also drew up and signed the Mayflower Compact, which set the rule of law for the new land.
